Spectator Sport: Snack Bar
The place is busy, noisy, buzzing. Students rushing all around buying foods, snacks, and ice-cream. The bee is flying above all the trashes. The floor somehow smooth or can be sticky from dripping juices. The tables are taken by students during lunchtime. Parents waiting for their exorbitance children in the after school. Or maybe student come putting the bags and go somewhere else. Some also but the food and come to hangout with their friends. Our snack bar has been renovated since last year. Long ago their is only white little tables for selling. Now it has aggrandize into a big orange building with flamboyant windows for student to order. Snack bar also sell us stationary or the excuse slip. The stationary includes white, red, blue, pen and markers, also colorful feature board, papers, and clays. Food includes fruits, cakes, bread, and many other kinds that doesn't have pork in it. We student sometimes seem assertive to it. But still we need to eat of hunger if we doesn't eat we would turn into a intemperate person. After the student brought the food most of them filled the tables and chairs up. The late comers sometime need to buy the food and eat at other places some need to make much time to buy the food because the line is very long. The place also smell like every kinds of food combine together but its is not very weird smell. The snack bar is also surrounded by the cover court, office, cashier, guard office, or the registrar office. We use our EIS student smart card in order to purchase our food from the snack bar. First time I saw the renovated snack bar its seem like a jungle because it is not very modern or fashionable. Now we need to get use to it.
